Obin AI builds AI agents that automate or assist core workflows in the financial services industry. We’re already working with some of the world’s largest financial services firms with sponsorship from senior leadership.
We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Product Manager to join our team as one of our earliest hires. You’ll work directly with customers—primarily in the finance sector—to deeply understand their workflows, uncover impactful AI use cases, and translate those into product requirements for our engineering team.
You won’t be expected to code, but you’ll need a solid grasp of technical systems and data flows. You’ll partner with full-stack engineers to build secure, scalable integrations with financial systems and deliver solutions that create real business value.
This is a hybrid, high-ownership role based in New York, with regular in-office collaboration.
Serve as the primary product interface to our customers, translating their needs into structured product workstreams.
Work across customer engagements to gather requirements, define MVPs, and guide solution implementation.
Translate customer workflows into technical integration needs and product specs for engineers.
Participate in onsite/hands-on deployments to ensure successful onboarding and usage of our product.
Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment to prioritize and launch product features quickly and iteratively.
You understand financial systems and data flows or have worked in a finance-adjacent role (e.g., fintech, investment banking, or management consulting).
You’re comfortable interfacing with clients, unblocking deployments, and delivering value.
While you won’t be coding, you understand how APIs work, how data flows between systems, and can speak fluently with engineers.
You can distill ambiguity into clear problem statements and action plans.
You thrive in zero-to-one environments and are comfortable wearing multiple hats.
